One £999 package includes a comprehensive written report covering plans, up to three builders, pre-construction arrangements, programme and payments, plus one consultation call and agreed milestone check-ins through completion. Build Advocate receives no builder or supplier referral commissions.
Complete the required project questions and pay at checkout, then send your documents using the route in your confirmation. We confirm suitability, scope, essential information and start arrangements in writing. If we cannot accept your case before work starts, we refund the payment in full.

We review your supplied plans, scope and budget assumptions for practical design, buildability and building-control concerns. We identify missing decisions, scope gaps, access and occupation issues, sequencing risks and recommended changes to take back to your architect or relevant specialist. We flag missing building-control information and questions to resolve before work proceeds.

We identify evidence gaps and matters requiring the appropriate designer, surveyor, engineer or other specialist. We confirm suitability and scope after reviewing your intake and documents.
Questions before you start
Can you review early drawings?
Yes. We assess the information available, explain practical concerns and identify missing decisions. Later design revisions or new scope are agreed separately.
Do you choose or find the builder?
We assess up to three builders you are considering, compare the evidence and provide reasoned advice. You retain the appointment decision. Missing information remains visible in the findings.
Does this include a fixed construction price?
The package reviews cost assumptions and builder proposals. It is not a builder’s quotation or a guaranteed final build cost. We explain exclusions, allowances and unresolved scope.
What if I have no builder quotes yet?
Tell us your project stage and what information you have. We confirm suitability, the essential documents and the agreed order of work before accepting the case.
How do progress reviews work?
We agree check-ins at major construction milestones through completion, linked to relevant inspection and payment stages where practical. Send dated progress photos, inspection records, changes and outstanding-work details. We review the evidence and give questions and next actions.
How do I arrange a call?
One consultation call is included. Email your case reference, the issue and suitable times to arrange the consultation or a call within your agreed support scope. Timing and availability are confirmed by arrangement.
Are site visits or dispute management included?
These need separate scope agreement. Remote advice does not replace statutory inspections, technical certification or appointed site management, and there is no guaranteed emergency-response service.
What is the total price?
£999 for the agreed package. Build Advocate is not VAT registered, so VAT is not added to this price.
What about previous assessments?
Previously agreed customer commitments are honoured. If you already have a Build Advocate case or agreed credit, contact us with your case reference before purchasing.
What is additional work?
Material redesign, additional builders or checkpoint reviews, site visits, negotiations and dispute management are separately scoped and agreed before further paid work begins. We correct our own errors without an additional fee.

Included in your £999 package: assess up to three builders and the commitments behind their prices. We review trading identity and history, available references and credentials, proposals, scope gaps, allowances, exclusions, programmes, proposed contracts and payment terms.
You receive a documented comparison, evidence-based findings and questions to resolve before appointment. We explain the effect of missing evidence or unanswered questions. You retain the appointment decision.
